Sometimes it's hard to differentiate between reality and fiction; for people like Emma, it's decidedly impossible.
After having her life saved by a mysterious man, Emma Malcavech is left with nothing but a coma victim and a lot of questions. Plagued by nightmares and hallucinations, Emma's life falls apart around her until one day, her rescuer awakens from his coma and introduces Emma to a world beside our own-- a world she now belongs to. Belonging or not, though, it doesn't take Emma long to discover that this new world isn't what it seems, but rather clogged with greed and corruption.
When the troubles in her new world threatens the one that disowned her, Emma is forced to make an impossible choice.
