No one dies anymore. Everyone just reverses, growing older, then aging backwards, and the cycle continues. With a serious overpopulation problem, the government created the Zero Birth Policy, making everyone born after the year 2056 Illegal. A dedicated team of Legalizers hunt down the remaining Illegals as the planet's resources dwindle, but they don't know that their fate, and everyone else's, hinges on one girl....

Cory, an Illegal pickpocket and reckless street-racer, can reverse her aging process as often as once a month despite the well-known fact that the human body can only go through a reversal once every few decades without putting one's life in danger.

She's good at keeping her head down and surviving in an unforgiving world, but when rumors start spreading about a girl with a knack for reversing, she suddenly finds herself as the lab rat in a dangerous science experiment.

She must undergo extreme physical tests and revisit her troubled past if she wants to survive, but the relationship she forms with the scientists' son makes life a bit more bearable.

Caught between freedom and integrity, love and survival, she must decide just how far she's willing to go for the few people she holds dear, because the results of the experiment could change everything.

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Genre: Science Fiction, Romance, Post-apocalyptic, Dark romance Length: 84,468 words This book has been published on Amazon.
