"You can say growing up for me, Layla was a piece of cake. I mean straight A's and B's throughout my life. I had a good best friend Leti , a great boyfriend who cared about me, Brandon, and a outstanding mom who was by my side every step of the way since my dad passed almost a century ago..."

But Layla's life wasn't going to be "a piece of cake" anymore once she moved from East L.A. to the most wreckless cities in Illinois. Chicago. While she moves and settles in she will encounter one of the biggest kingpins in Chicago, known as "Q" who is under his childhood friend Montae.

"Change is apart of life Layla, you will go through a change your entire life." But was Layla actually ready for this change? Could she still live her normal lifestyle as she did in the east of L.A. or will she let the chips fall where they may?
