The little boy held the fluffy dog close to his heart as he stood inside, looking out of a window. His face was barely visible through the torrent of raindrops pelting at the glass. The day was grey and foggy, reflecting the little boy’s mood. He was sad because he had no one to play with, he was lonely. (Even with his puppy, Iggy, he still felt lonely!) The little boy kept a vigil eye outside, waiting for his parents and his sister to come home so maybe they could play with him and keep him company. But minutes passed, and no one came. The little boy walked over to the fireplace that was flickering, and sat down next to it. He stayed there for a few minutes, deciding on what he should do. Suddenly, there was an abrupt knock on the door. Who could it be? he asked himself. He anxiously skipped over to the door and stood on his tippy-toes to reach the doorknob. But when he opened it, it was not his parents nor his sister. It was a special visitor waiting just for him and his puppy. A special visitor for the little boy named Loukas Murphy.
