I see the man getting closer, see him grin and sprint even faster. I try to run, try to continue running, but, me, being clumsy just has to fall. The man grabs my hair and pulls me to his silver Chevy and puts me in the back.
"Help me, please, help" I screech. I see the man glance back at me, but he's not a man, he looks to be my age around 15,16 and maybe even 17.
"Shut up, or I'll kill you," he doesn't look like he's kidding. He suddenly slams on the breaks and gets out of the drivers seat and comes to open my door.
Is this it, is he going to kill me, what did I do? The man grabs me by my hair and puts a cloth over my mouth! I feel so strange and then everything goes black.

I wake up with a pounding headache. Now I know why my mother tells me not to drink. I open my eyes and close them right after. I pull my covers off of me and stretch for a minute. I walk to the bathroom with my eyes still closed. Now that takes skill. I open my eyes when I get in there. I look around for a second and scream. I run to the bed I was in and see its not mine. BOOK 1 OF 3 - "Violet." Harry's voice stops me in my tracks, a shiver snaking up my spine at the steady tone he always seems to carry. I slowly turn back around to face him, our eyes meeting in the dark cab, the only light coming from a street lamp above the car. "Are you al-" He starts to ask that same goddamn question. "Don't." I cut him off. "Don't you ask me that again. Okay? I don't even know you." Harry doesn't say anything and lets me open the door to get out of the car. "That cut wasn't there this morning." He states matter of factly. "What?" I duck my head back down into the cab to look at him again. "Em told me your story about how you split your lip." He looks deeply into my eyes and I'm suddenly self conscious about how attentively he's looking at me . "Unless I missed you sneaking off to play volleyball during work, that was not there before that pompous asshole boyfriend of yours showed up." My mouth falls open slightly, not knowing what to say in response to him calling me out so blatantly. Nothing he's saying is accusatory toward me, he just obviously doesn't believe a single thing I've said. And he's right. They're all lies. I shut the door in his face, my solution for not having a response. I turn around to walk toward my house, a little shaken by this interaction with a perfect stranger who saw right through my bullshit immediately. I hear Harry's car roar back to life as I attempt to unlock the front door with slightly trembling hands. The lack of sleep, drama with Johnny and the conversation I just had with Harry is proving to be too much for one day. Getting that out of the way, let's go onto the story description... *This book contains explicit content* *EXTRACT FROM THE BOOK* I stared at him, cooking and whistling, something that I could not do, or should I say, wasn't bothered to do. I decided to move away and to try and find an exit but I didn't even take one step back when I heard his voice. "Princess? Is that you?" I saw him raise his head before shooting his eyes onto me. The sudden gaze caused to heart to race while it froze my body as if I have turned into ice. I felt the fear engulf my body, eating me inside out. "You aren't scared of me... "Are you old enough to be here?" The 18-year-old asked, and Hailey laughed. "Yeah. Of course, look can we just have two light beers?" Hailey asked looking at the desserts. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end.
