In 1941, seventeen-year-old Y/n L/n a German native is going to leave the only place she knows to be safe. During this time, the Nazi party reigns all of Germany and the L/n family opposes the Nazi beliefs and believing so, can have fatal consequences. The family has received death threats, stones thrown at them, spat at, and almost killed. They know they won't be safe if they stay together. They must separate. Y/n is sent to live with Vash and his sister Lily. Lily welcomes her like a long-lost sister, but Vash keeps his distance.
