"It's going to be okay," muttered Charlie softly. I diverted my gaze, choosing to stare at my brown Chucks. 
"It's hard to be okay when your lights are about to go out," I mumbled back bitterly. I wiped the corner of my eyelid with my sleeve. Charlie squeezed my hand.
