Hermione Granger is scared. The nightmares are frequent and sleep is rare. Her relationship with Ron is not what she thought it was. Stuck in  a circle of despair she is trying hard to regain the famed Gryffindor courage while maintaining appearances....

Feeling for a mudblood. Both, a taboo in his world. Who knew catching feelings was this easy? Especially for someone who wasn't allowed the luxury of emotion...

Now he finds himself drawn to her, because of the darkness they both are stained with.
