Hermione Granger is scared. The nightmares are frequent and sleep is rare. Her relationship with Ron is not what she thought it was. Stuck in  a circle of despair she is trying hard to regain the famed Gryffindor courage while maintaining appearances....

Dark magic is rising and gloom surrounds Hogwarts. Desperate to try and mend herself yet unable to admit she needs help, she finds strength from an unexpected entity.

 Draco notices the change in Granger, her wanker of a boyfriend, the weasel seems oblivious while the boy who lived, her best friend seems to be barely living. 

A chance encounter with the changed Hermione in sixth year exposes her vulnerability. What starts off as the perfect chance to weaken the trio's brain further, culminates into him feeling. Feeling for a mudblood. Both, a taboo in his world. Who knew catching feelings was this easy? Especially for someone who wasn't allowed the luxury of emotion...

Now he finds himself drawn to her, because of the darkness they both are stained with.
