This is the story of a 17 year old girl name Kehlani Grace a junior in high school. Trying to cope with her father being in prison and her mom and family bullying constantly for not being pretty, Kehlani's family is known for having the prettiest females but her family doesn't consider her as one of the pretty ones they always say she's the ugly duckling of the family. She's a beautiful girl though but she doesn't see it because her family say she isn't. The only two people who ever told she was beautiful was her dad but he is in prison so they rarely talk and josh her Bestfriend since elementary school who moved and away with no trace or goodbye she misses him so much.
