What happens when you wish for something terrible ... and your wish comes true? Young Sarah is about to find out. Left at home to mind her baby brother, Toby, she finds herself trying to comfort a screaming infant as a wild storm rages about the house. In a fit of temper, she wishes that the goblins would come and take the child away. Unfortunately, they do.
Sarah then plunges into a whirlwind adventure. If she cannot reach the center of the mysterious Labyrinth within thirteen hours, Jareth -- King of the Goblins -- will keep Toby forever. In the twists and turns of her dangerous journey to Jareth's castle, she meets an extraordinary variety of strange characters, some more friendly than others. But none of them will be able to help her unless she musters the courage to challenge Jareth -- no matter what the odds.
Jim Henson, creator of the Muppets and directory of Labyrinth, has joined with executive producer George Lucas to take us once again on a fascinating journey into a fantastic world. Labyrinth has been produced by Eric Rattray; the executive supervising producer is David Lazer, illustrator Brian Froud is the conceptual designer, and the screenplay by Terry Jones is based on a story by Jim Henson and Dennis Lee. A Henson Associates Inc. / Lucasfilm Ltd. production, the movie is distributed by Tri-Star pictures.

Will she find the truth about her past? Will she accept the heart of The Goblin King that never stopped seeking for her heart? There is no book for Sarah to follow this time, this time she must forge her own path. Through the Faerie World where secrets abound. It leads Sarah on her own journey to find entry to the Underground. She finds herself at the abandoned cave entrance and her journey begins. WRITER'S NOTE: Hi, I just wanted to notify you really quickly that I'm actually rewriting this ENTIRE series, considering I was twelve when I started it and I was fourteen when I left everyone hanging. I have released the prologue to the book which is only about two pages long. I will try to release at least one chapter a week, meaning a new chapter will be coming up tomorrow or at the very least this weekend. One night when she was 19 years old she wished to visit Jareth in his castle and became pregnant without Jareth knowing. When the baby was born she decided to name the girl Thelma Lind but sent the child away to a small unnoticable country in the north known as Iceland. When the girl is turning 12 turning 13 she starts to feel strange.She watched a movie called Labyrinth and she felt a slight connection to it. She had never resembled her siblings nor her parents. Both her parents had always had bright hair but she had a lovely golden blonde, and her parents were quite small. Then her parents inform her that she is adopted and was to spend time with her birth mother that night. Sarah had always wanted to protect Thelma from Jareth's cruel ways but what happens when Jareth finds out that Sarah has been hiding her from him...Complete
Labyrinth 2: The Return Of The Goblin King
I only recommend this story for people who have seen, understood, and enjoyed the 1986 movie Labyrinth, starring David Bowie(and his awesomeness) as Jareth-the villain-and Jennifer Connelly as Sarah-the main character. For those of you who haven't, watch it before reading this story my amazing brain came up with. Sarah and her friends return in this amazing new adventure, Labyrinth 2: Jareth's Comeback. The all-powerful(and totally frightening) Jareth has returned in need of a bride; a young maiden to assist Jareth's rule in the new era of the goblin kingdom! Alas, the only girl Jareth would ever settle for is Sarah, and it will always be that way. But Sarah-even though she had fallen for him with the help of his tricks in the previous adventure-still sees this magic-wielder as an uncaring, selfish, cruel man. But the truth is...he never wanted Toby. He never would've harmed him, the whole thing was done with a decoy. All he wanted was Sarah. Through dangers untold, and hardships unnumbered, Jareth will find a way into Sarah's heart once again, even though her will is as strong as his, and her kingdom as great.
