Elaine Guinevere loved Lucas Temple, a football player in college, so much that she didn't even tell him the baby was his. She loved him so much that she knew that he would quit college and turn down all those teams who would want to sign him just because of the baby. To save him, she disappeared from his life just so he can go through with it smoothly. Leaving Lucas heartbroken as she went to raise the child as her own with a little help. A couple of years passed Lucas now, a football star, and Elaine, a struggling writer, along with their child, Thomas, cross paths.
