Annabelle Cooper is a smart, sassy girl having a dysfunctional family, with her mom always out of the house, not to mention how she ignores the fact that her daughter and son hate her. Annabelle's dad, on the other hand is a story for another time. So with her life filled with problems she plans for forget about them all and think more about her dream. Acting. With the Annual Theater Competition just around the corner she is more than ready and has her eyes set on the prize, nothing can get in her way but... a certain someone will.

Ethan Kingsley is a ladies' man, full of wits and sarcasm and a total jerk. Football is his life and on his return to Alaska, he wants nothing else than to join the team again and  become the team captain this year but he makes a teeny tiny mistake. He gets in a fight with a senior,
 which automatically lands him in counseling and somehow in way of Annabelle's dream.
