Before Kiera Jones turned fifteen, her life was as normal as could be.. minus the whole mind reading thing. Her life was centered around school, friends, and the aching pain from the loss of her brother and parents.
Kidnapped a month after her birthday, she's shocked to find that she is a feary, and no, not the one's with wings and wands, the ones that have powers and are trained to kill, an assassin in a human's perspective. Being princess wasn't on the list either, but she happens to be that. Did I mention she’s the most powerful... in the universe.
Having greedy men after her all the time, she has to learn to fight for her life as well as her kingdoms. Sure is a big jump from her old life back home... but where is home now? With the humans or the fearies? The simple or the strange?

Amantha is not ready to be anything other than a wild, tomboy princess, but when tragedy strikes this unlikely royal is called upon to rule a kingdom. Scared to grow up, she runs away from responsibility and finds a new world in an adventure to find out who she really is inside. While Amantha is no princess in distress, she has much to learn about the world of magic and mystery and along with the help of a beautiful boy with a secret past, she uncovers the fairy tale world that lives right outside of her kingdom. "When I was little, I didn't believe that there was magic. I had been taught that no elves, witches, leprechauns, unicorns, harpies, trolls or dragons had ever existed. No one could turn into anything else and everything happened for a reason. Now that I'm older, I realize that even if a tutor told me those things, you can't believe everything people say. I happen to know that magic exists because I have seen it with my own eyes. If you believe that dreams come true, they will. And fairy tales aren't only in story books."
