Flower Crown

He would never forget how he watched the light go out of his little girl's eyes in one heartbreaking second.

But, as promised, the very next day, he went to the garden and wanted more than anything for her little hands to grace his head with one of her beautiful flower crowns.

But he was left only with the one she died for.

The one he would later mount on his wall so he could forever relish in her last act of kindness.
