Imane is a young and very pretty woman who has to deal with the death of her best friend / partner. 

She is cleaning out her apartment when she comes across a small leather book called "Imane's Diary". She finds all the memories of her and her best friend's childhood in the book, and she keeps it.

She decided that every day, after work, she would travel over to the nearby cemetery where her friend lays, and she would read them the memories they shared in their earlier years.

Imane becomes nostalgic, and she starts to develop depression, but this book is her safe place and her happy place.

This book of Imane is what keeps her going.

Two sets of red eyes and two dozens roses await her. ~~~~~ this story is finished! i finished it in 2019 when i was still writing! i appreciate every single person who has taken the time to read this and message me about it! i honestly forget that this even exists sometimes. if anyone would genuinely want me to and thinks they would actually read it, i can work on a sequel. i have free time in my life (finally) and i have some amazing friends who are also writers. if you by chance see this and want to message me your opinion on a sequel, i will make sure to respond!

"Lilith is coming back to LA to work on the stage crew," Jake says. My eyes slightly widen. Fuck. ~~~ A year has gone by and now Lilith is back. Although a reunion is coming up, a year can change a person drastically, and as they say, change is inevitable. Will Lilith be able to reconnect with Billie? Or is it seemingly hopeless? It's a sweet and deep romance about two characters negotiating their feelings for each other while life is doing everything to tear them apart. The characters have such mature conversations and, there's no reliance on the miscommunication trope at all. I'm *obsessed.* If you enjoy intriguing fantasy novels with deep and thoughtful themes, check out 'The Gifts of Mortality' by @eleanorkennedy14 . It explores the concept of mortality and how it gives life meaning through the eyes of both gods and humans. The story follows Samil, the god of the Festivals and the Arts, who is shocked by the apathy of his fellow gods when a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death. Despite finding no support among his kind, he's determined to help the humans, which sets him down an interesting course. There are lots of great twists in this novel, and I also loved seeing how queerness was worked in throughout both the immortal and mortal realms. Samil is a sweet and refreshing character to root for who is determined to see the good in the world.
