Welcome to the continent of Theseus, shared by the four factions, Graceland, Airguard, Ecryptia, and The Riverlands. Riverland people, who have settled in the far east, are generally a hated population as they commonly sneak into their neighboring land's territory and either slaughter their livestock or steal their food. Not much is known about these mysterious folk who still praise their gods that supposedly died long ago. These people are based off of the Sumerians. The Airguards, in the north, are a strong noble people who rejoice in the art of war. Based loosely off the Norse religion, these people also still revere their gods who were lost. Ecryptia, based off of Egyptian mythology, is based in the far west. It is a desert land, spotted with very few sources of water. The Vile River runs through it's center, emptying out into the Medairian Sea. Then we have Graceland, to the south. Despite its name, it takes part in just as many wars and fights as Theseus's other three factions. Our young hero, Sarin, hails from this land. Graceland, which is based off of Greek mythology, has all but abandoned the gods they once worshiped, just as their gods abandoned them. Sarin is a Graceland boy living in his small forest town called Agrios. He hunts in it's mountainous forests, and steals from his city's pompous rich. But not for long. Soon Sarin learns of monsters he'd never experienced, and battles a hydra threatening to burn down his home, family, and life. As he nearly dies he's confronted with two things. To join his father, a supposed god, and live, or to reject his father and die. Which would you choose? If he chose to live, would siding with his father in a second war of the gods be any better than dying a swift death from hydra poison? Probably not.
