How Tauriel is dealing with the aftermath of the battle as she goes back to Mirkwood and realizes that she has always wanted Thranduil's love and affection in her life. The story follows their relationship from the days and weeks after the battle to many years later, during the events from LOTR and after. I absolutely loved their chemistry in the Hobbit and this is my first fanfic.
