Lexington is a girl in a small town, living within the untied states, who's government believes that once a year for 13 hours people should be alowed to do things that are illegal, especailly killing someone. what happens when someone brings down the government and puts the whole world under the influence that its okay to purge for the rest of their lives? There is no government anymore, so why not? Lexington has to find a way to keep her brother alive, as well as juggle her boyfriend who she deeply loves, deal with her psychotic illusions, and find her mother who is miles away in oregon with her Grandmother Victoria.
