Amaliah Fedra is the next chief to be for the Shukua Clan. The Shukua clan is known for their impenetrable defense and their strange yet powerful connection to wolves. Amaliah's father is the current chief and the greatest warrior in all of Carnarik.
One night Amaliah is murdered in cold blood. Upon seeing this, the town Mage takes in Amaliah's body and merges her with her wolf creating the very first werewolf.

"Who else would it be Amaliah Fedra?" She smirked.
"Why am I here?" I asked softly wringing my hands. I was scared now.
"Because I want to give you a gift."
"What gift?"
She smiled at me again. "Vengeance darling. I want to give you your life back."
I knew she was a goddess so I knew she could grant life, but everything comes with a price and I fear hers may be the highest.
"At what cost?" I asked her.
"You will become something else. And... you will destroy the sorcerer Vingar." Her words hung ominously in the air. I turned away from her. Vingar was more than a human. He was a sorcerer. He could manipulate items and people to his will. If no one else has done it then, how can I?
"I will give you the strength you require little one. You have but to agree to my terms and I will arm you with every weapon you need."
"What will I become?" My heart was thumping against my chest.
"A shapeshifter. A being of power. Half she-wolf and half woman. You will be my daughter. The mother of wolves.".
