Originally from the Invader Zim Amino Summary: Dib and Zim are in their senior year of hi skool, and Dib notices increasingly odd behavior coming from the alien. While trying to solve this mystery, he slowly learns that there's more to Zim than he could've ever imagined. AKA a ZADF fic where stuff just kind of happens! I will admit, the premise is pretty typical for this fandom, but I'm trying to put some interesting and creative spins on it!

After a rather rough breakup Zim leaves Earth vowing to never return, but when he succumbes to loneliness and the irken empire refuses to take him back he turns to the last place where he felt he might be able to belong. In this au Purple and Red love and is overprotective of Zim. Zim didn't feel the same but doesn't know how to reject his leaders. Who knows what they'll do? Zim finds a way to escape by asking for a mystery mission. Purple and Red saw how happy Zim was and just couldn't find the heart in them to refuse. As months went by, Zim got an urgent call to come to the mothership. When Dib finds out about Zim's dissappearance, he runs to Zim's hideout, not caring if he was still in his space pajamas. When he arrived, he saw nothing but a robot acting like a total psycho. Gir. Will Zim ever escape this unwanted love and find his future boyfriend, or will he stay with Purple and Red?
