Being a Proxy isn't a choice, it's forced. You may think it would be a dream come true, to eat all the cheesecake and waffles you could ever imagine, while being in a glamorous mansion. WRONG. In reality, it would be far from it.
After unfortunate events and misunderstandings, Tim Wright and Brian Thomas had been taken by the Slenderman, deemed proxy worthy. They were forced to fight against their own will for their spots, loosing the small amount of sanity they had left. Now left to work for the legendary Slenderman, they wish that they had just been left dead...

Tim lost everyone to The Operator but just when he thought it was over he runs into Ash, the two becoming reluctant allies in this mess. He soon uncovers that what he knew about that entity and the horrors might reach further than he and Jay originally found out... and Ash seems to know more than what's being told. Keep friends close and enemies closer, if you can tell the difference. For Ash, that line is becoming blurrier and trying to keep friends alive along with herself isn't easy. Piece by piece Slender works to break her and force Ash to work as a puppet. Their choices may eventually come down to Break or Fight, better known as Submit or Die, unless they can figure out how to trust each other enough to work together. Oakside Forest (My 'Masky' and 'Hoodie' origin story)
This is my version on how Tim and Brian (Or Masky and Hoodie) became proxies to the myth Slenderman. There's a lot of conflict in most of the fandom about whether they are or aren't proxies. So I thought i'd give my reasoning on how they ended up leaving The Operator and succumbing to Slender and joining him.
