A young adolescent wolf named Shade sets off on a journey to find his own pack. He'll meet a wolf named Moonlight at the start of the story and the two become best friends. As they walk along the vast desert they will meet a pack in a new forest who will ask them to journey to the moon rock and to please come back with some (exclusive) information. What will happen to Shade and Moonlight? Will they make it back to the pack? Will they even make it to the Moon Rock?
