This is a story about a 23-year-old who moved to New York from Lafayette, Louisiana to fulfill her dreams of not only being in musicals but writing them as well. After living there for a year working small jobs to pay for her rent, her best friend Jo tells her about the musical written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. She auditioned for the part of the eldest sister. Through the months leading up to opening night, she quickly takes notice to a fairly tall curly haired man with coffee stain like freckles. Will she finally give love a chance or will her work become full priority? Only time will tell.
