Life for young author/singer/songwriter Roxanna Charles isn't normal. It seems perfect, in fact. She has a publishing deal, is touring as a solo artist with one of the world's biggest boy bands, and plays in her own band. Her dreams of writing and music are pretty secure. Even more than that, she has a great support system. She has her sister, Jess, and new brother-in-law, Scott. There's her best friend Nat, and of course her lovely bandmates, Sam, Cade and Hayden. All of these people, of course, love and support her. Along the way, Roxanna meets Aaron James, a dark haired, dashing boy who happens to be the son of her new stylist. With him, she finds first love and all of the joys that come with it. All of this perfection must bring a massive catch, of course. As it so happens, Roxanna happens to be hiding many things from Aaron. When these things come out at the worst time, Roxanna's seemingly perfect world crumbles before her eyes. And that's when things really get bad.

SugarCOAT

Jamie has it all - depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and a hate for her endless acne. With no friends, a distant family, and a nonexistent love-life, Jamie has made it through her twenties by hanging onto her dream of becoming a professional singer. In the past, she was presented with opportunities, but her fear got the best of her. When a unique talent competition can help start her career, Jamie will either try again or move on for good. These days, adulthood can be summed up as a time in a person's life where many questions are asked, and the answers are either N/A or sugar-coated, leaving them to figure it out on their own. They say society has a low-attention span. They say people don't read these days. Would it be surprising that the answers to life could be found in a special book? From the author: I wrote this story in hopes of helping readers face their fears, issues, past, etc. Even though life is hard at times, never stop asking questions and never settle for any answer. Your life matters, and you are loved more than you know. I hope you read this story to the very end. Thank you!
