Nothing interesting ever happens in the small town WillowCreek. Men and women go to work every day, children attend school, and neighbors say hello to each other. Or at least that's what Quinn Riley thought until her best friend, Josie, was kidnaped 4 years ago. And it was that moment that Quinn knew that WillowCreek wasn't the pleasant small town that everyone claimed it to be.
Fast forward 4 years from the infamous kidnapping of 2014 and everyone in town is back to acting their normal selves in their normal lives. However, it appears that someone is still lingering on the past. Someone who is leaving Quinn and her friends clues to what actually happened to Josie Eldridge. Clues that let on that Josie wasn't actually kidnapped, but maybe something worse.
