He held a knife right at her neck. The whole gang was there, in that dark diserted ally. The boy who she had grown to love as a brother, instead of a cousin, was right beside her. Staring in her eyes. Darkness and emptiness filled his eyes. This was the most terrified she has ever been. She knew a secret that could ruin her cousin. She knew why her cousin was so cold hearted.

Khloe Lopez was a well liked girl at school, it was the place she could be herself and not be judged by it. Her father was abusive after his favorite kid in the house, her cousin, got taken out by social services. He started drinking and abusing drugs after Andrew got taken out. 

Khloe's friends always warned her about the ITM gang. Khloe being the curious fifteen year old she was, didn't listen.
