"Ok class.. Today we're reviewing the ancient Aztecs. Everyone open their books to page 160." my history teacher says

I grab the book from the basket under my desk and put it in front of me. I flip the book open to page 160 and see something written in pencil at the bottom of the page.

"Hey"

We start the lesson and talk about the Aztecs for the hour. Right as the bell rings I take another glance at the book.

"Hi"

And I'm outta there.

"Grayson, what are you doing?" I asked, slowly, walking into his house. He was sitting on a bar stool in the kitchen, facing the view of the city lights. Grayson was surrounded by open bottles of beers and alcohol. When he turned around, I did what most people wouldn't do, I looked directly into his eyes. His eyes were like a book, telling a story to ones who dared to look at them. Hurt, confusion, and sadness written all over his drooping, bloodshot eyes. He didn't answer me, making me step closer to him, "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah," he whispered with the rare smile I've seen only a few times through the time I've known him. Though this one is different. It was depressing. "No, you're not." He sighed. He didn't say anything back, but we both knew what he was going to say. He knew what he was feeling right now, even though he wasn't sober. He knew. "I wanna fix you." I whispered, shocking myself. His smile vanished, almost immediately. He looked away from me, his eyes back to the city lights, "Me too."He whispered. *•*•*•* Stereotypes shape today's society, especially with Grayson Watts. He's the schools bad boy, making girls go all over him, but I, Bailey Winters, or so I thought. I'm the girl that's usually too busy reading and doing homework than to go out and stalk guys. Somehow, Grayson and I cross paths and something about me made us become close enough to be called, 'friends.' With our new found friendship, I learned that bad boys, too, could be broken. I shrunk back into my seat as his head snapped towards me. He looked like his head was going to fall off. His eyes were blazing with rage. His face was set into an icy glare. His fists that rested on the table were clenched so hard his knuckles were white. As he stood from his chair so did I. I felt like the prey to the biggest predator in the jungle. I took two steps back for every stride he took towards me. I gulped again before shaking me head. "She's just joking Ace." my voice quivered as I took another two steps back. "How do I know that?" he sneered down at me, his body towering over me. As I went to take another step backwards, my back made contact with the wall behind me. Well great. Now I'm cornered. This is just typical. ............................................................. One girl moves to the big apple after her family disintegrates around her. All she has left is her one brother. ~~~~ Finally the day is over, things could have gone a lot worse but the only bad thing I got from today was getting paired with Tim in a business studies assignment. Me and him both arrived late third class and others had already chosen their partners, Dee paired with Nat. I tried conversing with Tim but the only thing I got back was a stare, I looked like a fool. It settles it I hate Timothy Storm. I know hate is a big word, but I never try to converse with anyone and when I finally did I got stared at. ~~~~ As you can see this is your typical cliche love story, the bad boy (Tim) and the the good girl (Kim) are forced to join forces due to the most dispicable activities of them all.....a school project. We have all ready a story like that before....... Infact you already know the ending Or do you? For all we know Kim may or may not be the good girl she claims to be. Is Tim really bad or maybe it's just an act. I promise you this is mostly going to be like most stories, with the crazy bitches that always making the female lead's life hell, the demons of the past coming back to haunt them and other things you have read before, But please just read the book you won't regret it, and if by any chance you do then feel free to cuss me out at the of the book........ but whatever you do read till the end. P.S I may or may not be a little rusty when it comes to writing. I am an amateur after all. If this is making you have second thoughts about reading the book....... forget I even wrote it and proceed on saving this story to your reading list *wiggles eyelashes innocently*. ~~~~

Love never came easily for Nathan Reed. Growing up, when his friends would get girlfriends, he would always be the single one. He would be the one third wheeling at the eighth grade dance, homecoming, prom, and any other event involving his friends. Whether it was going to the mall with his friend and his friend's girlfriend, or going to the movies, he was single. He was always single. At age twenty three in his junior year of college, he's accepted his fate of being single forever. He stopped having crushes four years ago when she asked him for his best friends phone number. He has never even hugged a girl he likes, and he counts kissing Amanda Baldwin in the second grade as his first kiss. That is until Odeletta Guillotin walks into his French class for the first time, three days after the class already started, late, in a black leather jacket and combat boots. When the teacher talks in French after she's settled in her seat, saying something that nobody understands, Odeletta responds in fluent French. Nathan is promptly intrigued by her. She doesn't even notice him, and he finds himself noticing everything she does, from the way she grips her pen to the way she furrows her eyebrows when she's concentrating. He finds himself wanting to talk to her, but after years and years of rejection, he can't do it. When he finally gets up the nerve to talk to her, he finds there is a lot more to the mysterious French girl than meets the eye.
