The Rain was my first story I wrote. I made it not too long after I started my Senior year of high school. If I hadn't of written it down, I don't think I would have made it here today to "publish" these stories and have other people look at them. Thanks to my Cousin for pushing me to put my work out there. This quickly became a coping method for me. I have continued to use this to this day, the end of my third semester of college, to order myself.

My cousin always referred to us as the bad jokes, as in...a blonde, a brunette and a redhead walk into a bar. I'm the blonde, and this is my story. When I was 18, a psychic told me to watch for the man with two hearts. That didn't make much sense, so I lived my life, not thinking about her fortune for my life. Then I met Wyatt and we fell in love. Until his ex-fiancee came back to him, and he chose her. Her heart. My heart. Two hearts. ----- I gasped, but soon enough the rain settled the flames down, making it disappear. I flipped onto my back, making the worst decision of my life. I cried out harder, with unbearable pain shooting through my shoulder. I quickly rolled onto my left side of the body. Making my backwards leg and popped shoulder hurt a tad less. I laid there, crying my eyeballs out. The rain got lighter by the second and stars started to appear in the night sky with the thick clouds drifting away. As the rain officially stopped, I was welcomed to darkness. ----- A/N: Now, I was 13 years old when I created this, and I am highly aware of some errors with spelling and the structure of some chapters.
