As soon as a girl turns 21, she is to be presented to society. She is to dress up in her most extravagant dress and flaunt herself in front of countless eligible bachelors from all of the nearby towns.
This is what most girls dreamt off: their presentation day. A chance to find their perfect other half, a chance to fall in love and live a "picture perfect" life.
