Barely Human: A Short Story Collection
Here lies a series of short stories written out of pure boredom or when ideas I conjure up don't fit nor expand into any bigger story. As I'll be too burdened with college and personal life, I won't be continuing Hollow Ocean for the time being as I would need to revise it. However, I took the time to make some short stories that I oftentimes use as submissions for my finals. Should the need arise, I'm not opposed to writing a second collection.

One book stood out to her, not only because it seemed to have appeared out of thin air or also because it isn't finished, but also because like hers it's not clear whether the main character is Good or Evil. That is until she arrives at the School and meets her, and falls head over heels for the woman.

Can she find her way back? When Eleeza falls from the Otherworld, she has a hard time to settle in our world. Being different gets her chased away from every village and farmer. Finally, in a castle owned by witches she gets work and a place to stay. Though cursed with utter ugliness, she finds a friend and eventually even love. After many struggles, they can escape the Witch-Queen - though the price is high. Even cursed with blindness, Eleeza finds peace and happiness and a family. But it doens't take long, until that shatteres as well ... *** I hope you enjoy it! It's my first story on Wattpad and also my first story I write in English (I'm German). I love the language and enjoy reading English books, but I guess my written English isn't all that good.
