I know a lot of people have been through what I've been through. I also know there are people out there that have been through worse. I know there are worse things going on in the world, but I wanted to tell my story.


"I'm just going to get to the point and tell you that my dad was physically abusive. When I was a little girl, I witnessed my dad push my mom into walls and hurt her and I didn't realize what was going on. Not that I can look back at it I realize what was actually going on. My dad had a bad temper and he got it from his dad and his dad got it from his dad. There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The second I saw her my skin heated and heart skipped a beat. I knew I had to know who she was. I knew I just needed to be near her. Time was standing annoyingly still and I think I may have forgotten how to properly breathe. "Panda you have to come sit down pacing is not going to-" pushing my hand out I stopped him from saying anything. I stopped him from confirming the knowledge that there is nothing I can do to make this better. I pulled at my hair ripping a couple of strands out in the process. I hated the white walls and fluorescent lights that adorned this place. The squeaky sound that could be heard whenever anyone walked and right now I was causing a lot of squeaking. The strong smell of disinfectant burning my nose but none of it matter right now not any of it. "Where is he?" I heard the voice and my blood immediately started to boil. "You did this" was the last thing I said before I flew and was on top of his mom hitting her wildly. So much for not liking confrontation.
