This started out as a midnight rant. I couldn't sleep, and when I can't sleep I usually type my thoughts into my phone. Specifically the thoughts that are keeping my up. This poem is for teens who are struggling with finding themselves. I know how hard it is to be yourself in the American society of today. I understand your pain, and I decided to turn my midnight rant into a story to help my piers. A poem that will hopefully help young teens, or even older teens, on their journey to adulthood. Or at least on their journey to find themselves. Their true self.
I hope you dudes and dudettes enjoy this... poem?...story? I'll call it a narrative poem.

"A mate will love you and only you. No other can compare to you and he or she will treasure you above all and everything in the world," mommy says to me as she kissed my forehead. I sighed dreamily. I can't wait till I find my mate. He'll be perfect and handsome and funny and smart and brave and beautiful and he'll love me... only ever me... and... and... Present This hurts so much. Seeing and hearing and knowing my mate, the one who's supposed to love me above all, me, only me is in love with somebody else. I'd hate him if I could. I'd reject him if I could... Everyone has a dark secret that they never want shared. but can these two fall in love without there life changing secrets being revealed to one another. Theodore Jones a london boy living in america. Is it by choice...well... He lived with his father in London until he was 14 and life changing events threatened his safety so he was sent to America to live with his mom. sad thing is, he was a result between to heart broken people who just wanted to have sex so when Theo's mom got pregnant with him whilst already having 4 small boys who's father just died, she thought it was better to send him to his father and never speak to him until he was 14. This resulted in Theo feeling alone unloved and unwanted living in a mansion full off people who was meant to call family. Now brooklyn live in new York before a tragic incident up rooted her whole life and moved it to california, night mares and fears consumes her everyday. What happens when to broken people meet. Will they lift eachother out of the darkness or will they suffer in silence
The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. This is a collection of my writing from the past 7 years. Before I started to write, I was a very lost individual, as are most teens, but I was lost in darkness. I was too afraid to move anywhere at all. I hid in the dark, debilitated by my own anxiety, sadnesses, anger, and hopelessness. I was desperate to be loved and feared it the most, I was a coward, I was self-destructive, I would mentally bend my thoughts to the point of bordering insanity. I was born into this world alone, and got too comfortable with it. Maybe I still am, but a fraction of what I used to be. This writing is extremely vulnerable, and potentially disturbing to others, as all my weaknesses, strengths, obsessions with making every moment sentimental, the sickening desperation I've had, the destructiveness, and the constant brutal reconstruction of my mind. Without guidance, it's been absolute intense chaos. Though, there is beauty in the darkness. Everything can be found in the darkness. You'll find that through my writing, I've somehow slowly become exactly what I've written. A living representation of my writing and what I wanted to be. Without myself even knowing it. A lot of my writing themes are based around nature, or some kind of natural aspect. The imagery I paint with natural metaphors is constant, the animals, just like you and I, the plants, and all other living things. I planted these seeds in my mind, unknowingly at the time, where I now feel the deep dark green jungle pressing at the inner walls of my skull. It's all that I want to consume my mind. There's so much to learn. The magic of nature, and it's infinite wisdom. It's as if I have been on this path all along, and I didn't even know what I was doing, yet my body and mind were passively taking care of me. Giving me and eventually showing exactly what I want, and wanted to become. I have every moment, every instance of suffering, and every epiphany to be thankful for. Soon, I'll be at peace from the raging storm.Complete

Have you ever felt so broken that you couldn't pull yourself out of bed and continue to live your life like you used to. A simple task such as tying your shoes already seems like a huge burden on your account. Struggling with yourself because everything around you doesn't matter anymore. That's mainly because she broke my heart. Who knew love could turn a person around. Who knew love would hurt this bad. Who knew love can make you feel numb. A simple word yet it has an enormous impact in everyone's life. Everything happens for a reason, and I'm not blaming it all on her, though there are things you just wish you could take back and redo because of the feeling it gave you. And because of those traumatic event, I turned into a complete opposite of me. Well, that's until I met...her. You'd think that I've learned my lesson but she's different. I'm that cold-hearted until she drop down here on earth and save my miserable, sorry ass. A girl who doesn't know how to give up. A girl who's filled with happiness in a way that if you stare at her, there's this feeling you can't explain and it just lightens your mood. A girl who's friends with everyone because of her pure and innocent soul. A girl that can certainly light up a god d*mn world with her personality. ... And a girl who made me feel again. A girl who made me fall in love again. A girl who made me forget all the things that I've been through because she made my present more than just worth living, and my future to be worth looking forward to. And she made me fall in love with her harder than anyone did. Harder than anybody could. And I wouldn't mind to fall over and over again if at the end of the line, she's there to catch me.Complete

" what's wrong," he asked, fucking tears, now I have to answer him " nothing I'm fine," I said he scoffed " I didn't ask are you okay but obviously your not fine," he said I roll my eyes at him why can't he leave me alone " I'm not in the mood to talk Alex," I said drinking "you're never in the mood to talk to me," he said inhaling the smoke of his cigarette Alexander and Elliot they are alike but at the same time different one is deadly when you get close other one crazy when look deep into his soul Everyone are scared of Alexander and tries to stay away from him still girls and boys throw themselves at him but he has his eyes on Elliot Elliot is hurt but still smiles and laughs with his friend everyone in school fear him every girl wants him he hates gays but when Alexander stares at him he feels something and that scares him because he never thought he would these things towards a man So what happens when Elliot is not just attracted to Alexander but something more and Alexander notices that it's not lust he has for Elliot will Alexander and Elliot both heal each other and maybe love? What will happen in Elliot's life when Alexander enters? I know its sounds a cliché Highschool story but I promise it's not , I love BoyxBoy books to read and I thought I should write one, this book has a mature scene and little violent.
