Having heterochromia made Demi Seraphina Argyros' time at the orphanage she grew up in difficult. Now twenty-five, she still feels like that vulnerable, bullied girl. Her self-esteem takes another hit when she's fired from her dead-end job and loses the only place that's ever come close to feeling like a home. She sees no bright side to her future, that is, until she meets Apollo.

Apollo made a mistake centuries ago by letting Zeus and the other Olympians enslave the Celestials just because of their fear to be overthrown. As a seer, Apollo has no choice of hiding the truth but as a God with right reasoning, he should've stopped his father for behaving foolishly. A millennium late but he's willing to make his mistakes right this time and let the river of fate flow without interference.
