Korey's boyfriend who is also in the band, beats and abuses her. Every little thing Korey does is wrong to him and he'll hurt her for the tiniest things. This breaks down Korey completely, making her have a severe case of depression, self harm and then an eating disorder as he makes her feel... Ugly... Pathetic...

Then with Ariel Bloomer her bandmate, Shawn who has been her best friend since they were teens, is addicted to drinking and tries to hit on Ariel when drunk. Ariel like Korey, self harms and has developed an OCD Disorder, which drives her crazy.

Their lives are messed up and they think there's no way out of these hellholes they live in, that's until Skillet and Icon For Hire tour together.

See, Korey and Ariel like each other. They have mega crushes on each other. Korey is bisexual, while Ariel is just into girls.

When they tour together, they become best friends but they're too scared to admit their love towards each other.

Eventually, they do tell each other how they feel and it goes right. But how will they fight what's trying to kill them? Will they free all of their pain?
