Joshua Harrison had been missing for nearly a week, and his disappearance was all anyone could talk about. No one had any idea what had happened to him, not his girlfriend, his best friend, his parents. I didn't, either. The difference was, I didn't care. Joshua had been nothing but an irritation to me, someone who would butt into my life and mess it up when he felt like it. He was an arrogant, pompous jerk but I was the only one who saw that. It didn't help that he was richer than Brangelina, he just had to flash money in everyone's face and they fell for his golden boy act. Let me explain the extent of my dislike for him: If I had to blink to save his life, I'd let my eyes dry and shrivel up. Who needs sight anyway? So could someone please tell me why the heck I had ended helping him after he was turned? Yes, turned. Like, vampire turned. Crazy, I know. But so was he.

(Book 2) *Contains spoilers below* "I needed more closure than what you gave me." I half lied. "It feels like an open wound someone keeps pouring salt on." His expression remained hard and cold. Almost distant. "I don't know what you want from me, Willow. You coming here isn't closing any wounds, it's just opening up old ones." I let out a sigh and rubbed my hands over my face. "I just needed to see you, okay? It's a relief to know you're even alive right now." I was begging myself not to cry. Noah shifted a little and folded his arms against his chest. "I don't know what you want me to say." "Anything is better than nothing." I said as I took a step closer. "I missed you. A lot." He peeked from under the mess of curls falling over his eyes. "You want me to tell you I missed you too? Is that what you're doing here?" I clenched my jaw shut and curled my fingers into fists at my sides. "I don't want anything from you." Scott isn't gone...yet. But he still refuses to let Noah go without harming anyone Noah cares about. It's been nine months since Scott took Noah under his wing and moved away from California. Willow hasn't seen either of them since the night Noah left with the promise to come back. When Willow finds Noah, she didn't expect what she finds. Noah's completely transformed into something she never thought she would see again. Besides the arrogant, obnoxious attitude, came countless tattoos, a ring through his lip, and a new name. With Scott still lingering and Noah's new found attitude, there's bound to be a little trouble. Way more than Willow bargained for. And maybe, just maybe, Scott isn't the real enemy.
