I, General Grim, wage this war beside the CIS against the Republic and the Jedi. I do not care for the war, but I WILL have my revenge for what they did to me... I do not care if I die. I do not care if I live. All that matters is me slaughtering all of the Jedi and having my revenge once and for all. Is there anything in space of me? Probably not, but I do not seek companionship, I do not seek acceptance. I only seek the blood of the Jedi on my claws. I have trained in dark side, my rage, aggregation, and hatred multiplying every second I live. There is no quelling my emotions. However I find as I walk with the Sith they have their own weakness similar to the Jedi. Even against the wishes of Count Dooku I grasp at every form of the force. Even though I twist the powers of the light side I will not, nor can I, be stopped.  I will have my revenge at any cost...

My earliest memory is pain. Pain of losing a mother, pain of losing the love of a father, pain from the isolation that happened after the incident. I'm a Jedi Padawan... oh wait, I'm not. No Master will pick me. I'm the fabled "Weakest Jedi." My connection to the force is so below-average I can barely muster a force-push. My only powers include limited force-sense and basic enhancing of my physical attributes. Despite this, I WILL become a Jedi. How? By honing my physical abilities and lightsaber techniques beyond what anyone thought possible. __________________________________________________________________________________ Hesitant to call this a "power fantasy," but this story will include the main character slowly becoming more powerful. After a horrendous attack by the Jedi on a sacred burial ground, Malidictus and his master face one another, after Vitiate perceived his students tactics as cowardice, and tries to execute him for it. But, after a nasty explosion, Malidictus is frozen in Carbonate, and three thousand years later....he is freed, and once he learns of the empire's fall, his ideals and goals, change. What will he do when he gains an apprentice, and focuses on reforming the once, great, empire? I never thought I could behold such a gift, not till my home planet, Naboo, was taken over by the Trade federation while my older sister, Padmé, was Queen. Two Jedi told me what I could be, how to become a hero of legends, a guardian of peace and justice- a Jedi Knight. I was to train under Mace Windu, a strict and uncompromising Jedi master- but a powerful one. He taught me everything, like how there was only good and evil. Jedi and Sith- I never questioned it, of course. Not till certain Jedi proved otherwise. Anakin Skywalker, the best pilot in the galaxy and the greatest Jedi I'd ever known. But there was more, much more. He was arrogant, headstrong, always biting off more than he could chew. He was strong, brave, and at times unbelievably kind. He made me laugh, and we taught each other how to love. But Anakin was also a man who wanted too much, who cared too much. It lead him astray, away from me, from good into evil. But was it just for evil? The thing always questioned, to this day. Could the universe indeed be as black and white as I painted? No, not anymore. Not from what I had seen and experienced. How could I still love a man who'd fallen so far? If the world was just good and evil- I should hate him- but it was not that simple. It never was. There will be crude words and moments because tis life in the galaxy. Also do not read if you do not ship Reylo. I am writing this because I cannot STAND the ending of the Rise of Skywalker even though it needed to end that way and it was really well done. If I didn't ship Reylo, I would've loved the ending. Whelp, this is a fanfiction of how I would've liked it to end. I'm going to make it as similar to the movie as I can while adding my own touches (and a Ben Solo) to it. I'm going to start it right after the part where Emperor Palpatine takes Rey and Ben's Lifeforce during their fight on Exogol. I will be changing POVs too.
