It's been less than a week since the robot incident and everything seems to be relatively normal. Except that Tom can't help but feel two things. One: that Tord didn't survive the explosion and two: that someone is watching him. When his friends seem to start acting weird, he begins to worry that something sinister is going on behind the scenes, and when he finds himself in this position, he knows why.

And, yes, this was pain of loss or hurt, but this was also because he had been experiencing symptoms of pancreatic cancer. Tord comes to pay his apologies for what he did in the past. They forgive him, but Matt is keeping an eye on him. By that, he's making sure he won't try anything with Tom. Why should he care?
