Flashback.
There she was before me. My hands seeping cold sweat, I diverted my eyes. I was not worthy to look upon her.
Her fair hair cascaded down her shoulders, a waterfall of glistening gold.
Her pale skin glowing against the grey sky, the rain pouring down, she remained untouched, undrenched, while I stood dripping before her.
In the cold, I stammered. Lost for words. I wanted to tell her. I couldn't.
Her emerald orbs pierced through the air, rendering me helpless. Her beauty was incomparable to anything I had even laid my eyes upon.
Her gaze spoke a thousand words. She spoke, finally. I shuddered at the sound of her voice, it was melodic and held a sweet music that fell from her mouth like silk.
Her frame was exquisite; elegant but by no means frail. She held herself in way such that her confidence and strength radiated from her body, overcoming and enlightening everything in her path. Including me.
She had asked me what I wanted. She had spoken to me. Olivia had spoken to me.
'You shouldn't be with him' The words were in the air before I was conscious of my thinking them.

Her death was just the beginning. ___ "What are you doing to us!" I cried. I felt the painful sensation deep in my skin as if I was burning from inside out. Like the sun became my greatest enemy and trying to burn me alive. I fell to my knees and I looked over at him with fear in my eyes. He told me to never show how terrified I was, but I couldn't help it. His eyes the color of night assured me that's it was going to be okay. But it wasn't. But I managed to speak, despite my mind telling me to focus on the pain. "Why?" I whispered. The woman knelt down beside me and whispered something in my ear that chilled me to my bones. In The Eyes Of Fate Series (Book One) "Don't even think about it." I stood frozen in place as he said those words from behind me, which sent shivers down my spine. The rain started running down my face as I started thinking of a way out of here. My body trembled in fear knowing that he could easily hurt me. I'm not strong against someone like him Thoughts raced through my mind as I tried to think of a way to get away from him. But there was nothing but endless trees around me. I blinked away the water running into my eyes due to the rain. My thoughts were disturbed when he suddenly spun me around to face him, his face just inches away from mine. "P-Please don't hurt m-me." I stuttered out. I tried to sound brave and not let my fear show, but my mouth betrayed me. His golden red eyes flickered with a hint of pain for a moment then back to a cold stare, "I'd never hurt you, never put you in harm's way and I'm never letting him take you from me, you're mine." He said in a deep low voice, almost a growl, and his eyes seemed to have gotten darker. 'What the hell is that supposed to mean?!' I tried taking a step back but his grip on my arm tightened. It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance. And ran. ~~~ Nora Brown, a normal adult, living a normal life. Moving away from home to start fresh and meet new people. Just going where life takes her. Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. Everything was gone. I sobbed, my clothes ripped and I was bleeding, but it didn't matter. I had to get to her, to them.
