Mature
Lex is alone in raising her two girls. Her twins, Cassy and Madison, are her whole life. Her brother is the drummer for Mariana's trench and the father of her children is the lead singer, Josh Ramsay. Josh left Lex alone with the kids while she was still pregnant and said he didn't want kids. His sudden return into hers and the girls lives is extremely unwanted. But Josh says he's still in love with her and wants to be a part of his children's lives. She allows him to bond with the girls as long as he is only 'mommys friend' and nothing more. She holds a lot of hate in her heart toward Josh and isn't letting her guard down this time. Josh believes that if he can make the girls happy, he can make lex happy...so he plans to get the girls the best birthday present they could ever ask for.

Fifteen years. Fifteen long, and horrible years. Josh Ramsay, the once famous singer of the biggest band in Canada - Marianas Trench - married to one of the biggest singers in the world, is left feeling broken. His world has been turned upside down and inside out. He can't live anymore. He doesn't know how. The only thing keeping him from falling off the brink of death, is his daughter Taylor, named after the once famous singer, Taylor Swift; and of course, alcohal always helps numb the pain. Her name is Taylor. No one needs her, loves her, or wants her. She needs to figure out her past, and forget the present. There is no future for her. How is Taylor supposed to live when she has a broken - if you could call it - family. She blames herself for everything, and the rest of the world agrees. As she spirals down the long road of hell to where her dad now sits, how will she find her place in this world? -Final book in the 'A Place in This World' series.
