Genevieve spoke softly after placing my black coffee on the vacant spot next to my laptop .
"It isn't as easy as you may think Gen.. " I replied in an exhausted tone .
Why is it now that I have a writers block ? On my most important book ...
Signing to myself I watch Gen go back to the counter to serve an awaiting customer .
I decided to take a sip of my coffee and look around the room .
And there I saw her ...
On the other side of the coffee shop gazing out the window with the most contemplated expression drawn on her face .
And that's when I knew ... I have found my new muse .

He had only a few inches of light brown wavy hair on top of his head and very little on the sides, yet he was spending his mornings making sure it laid in the perfect spot and looked just messy enough to act like he didn't care. He was setting out his clothes at night so that his jeans wouldn't have wrinkles in them. He was brushing his teeth for double as long as he normally would. He even invested in some floss. When he would go downstairs to Mugz, he would make sure to put on the cleanest Mugz sweater he had. He started sweeping more. Especially around the time she would be in, if only to be out in the lobby with her instead of having to talk over the counter. Alice was the same as always. She was very good at not showing an effect that his words had on her if she didn't want to. Any time she would say something suggestive or bold, Felix would find himself blushing or stuttering, but on the rare occasion that Felix would try to be as bold, she would just grin and laugh. Hanna had no idea where they were headed, but she was excited to find out. Blake traveled the same path as the night before and seemed to be taking them to Kansas City once more. What was there to do on a cold day in Kansas City? Blake turned the Lexus left, down into an underground parking garage. She had no idea where they were. It had been a while since she had traveled into Kansas City so everything looked new to her thanks to all the construction that's always happening here. Even her old apartment building had been knocked down and revamped. "So, you brought me to an underground parking garage? Thrilling! I love modern architecture!" Hanna said with a joking tone, turning towards Blake. Blake laughed. "We're almost there, I promise. Just a short walk, and you'll know exactly where you are." Hanna cleared her through to respond through a half cracked smile: "You know, I've known you for all of maybe twenty-four hours and you're bringing me to an underground parking garage. Should I call for back up or have the police on speed dial?" Blake whole heartedly laughed at Hanna's question and replied: "Calm down, I'm not a murdered, I'm an attorney, remember? Besides, we'll be out of this parking garage soon, I promise." After finding a parking spot, Blake jumped out of the car and ran around to open Hanna's door, and then laces his fingers through hers as he led her around to the front of the building. Hanna felt herself grip Blake's hand a little tighter as they passed a homeless man sleeping next to the wall just before they stepped out of the parking garage.
