It is about a family of Predacons that crashed landed on Earth. They were all in a cave where there was shelter and enough Energon that can feed their two Sparklings, a mech and a femme. They all lived happily until they were attacked by Megatron's forces and both the parents perished leaving the two Sparklings alone to die. They were in the cave for a day and a half until they were found by Autobots.

An ambush. That was all there was to it. The Prime was alone at that time, launching his only sparkling off world to protect her. He was so close to losing her to the Decepticons, at least that was what he thought. He was left heavily damaged, leaking energon, for the other Autobots to find. The priority was not the Prime, but his sparkling. Their objective had been achieved, they did not need to do anything else. Optimus Prime was for their Lord and master to defeat, not them. Eyes linger on the autobot leader after his assistance with aiding a decepticon, and their keen interest in the sparkling leads to danger to both Optimus and his sparkling. To the point where her life literally hangs by a thread again. And, someone beneath the surface of the planet, plans vengeance against those who banished him. Including against a young dragon who is only related by energon.
