The Source

Nerissa is a young Scientist living abroad and is a rising star in one of the world's largest energy companies. She is about to take on the biggest project of her life in Afghanistan, which she soon finds out is far from the safety and security the rest of the world seems to offer. She is befriended by several quirky scientists and falls in love with the last person she ever expected. But none of them are prepared when she finds a new energy source that could upset the global economy. Her journey is complicated by her Uncle, who owns a dubious import-export business; her mother who works for the US Government; an unlikely pair of brothers - half of which is a special needs genius; and a mysterious but brutal figure from her Father's past that seems to have no one's best interest in mind yet is obsessed with Nerissa. Above all, Nerissa will have to face and defeat the driven CEO of a rival company who will stop at nothing to obtain the source.
