He moves next door to her and they become great friends but turn to enimes. This is just another cliche. You know what happens yet you still read. That's why Lyla reads. She knows what's going to happen, the guy gets the girl and they live happily ever after. She doesn't get that like others. That's why he reads he longs for a happily ever after but he knows it won't happen....
