AYS. The academy for young shifters. every single shifter goes to this school unless know how to control their animal( which is impossible for people who just shifted).
There are elemental shifters that can only change into their given element( air, earth, or water) and can also control it. Then last but totally not least are the vogue shifters the most powerful and rare shifter of all they control all elements and can turn into any animal even imaginary ones.
Most of you are thinking so what does that have to do with anything but here's the thing I am a shifter, and I'm going to that school.
My name is Kayla and I'm a vogue shifter and no one knows. no one will ever know about it. but hiding it is harder than you would think. Also hurts when you already have a boyfriend but he doesn't go here. then there's also the chance i will fall for on of my mates.
will I be able hide my secret long enough to graduate? find out in AYS

"I wish I could kiss you," he confessed, looking over at the ice elemental in front of him after the words are left hanging in the air. "I'm ready to risk it all if you are," there is no hint of amusement, or lying, seen in his dark brown eyes as the words slip from his parted lips. Academy Initia is where elementals, people who can control elements at there whim, go to train their abilities. There is water/ice (other wise known as frost), earth, wind, and fire. Fire and Frost elementals are kept apart since they can potentially kill each other from a touch. Though, when the Academy is attacked, it forces the officials to have the students work together to become more powerful as one. Forcing the fire and water elementals to interact. And maybe, two boys, do a little more than that. COVER IS COURTESY OF @yoongidiqueTerminé
Shifter Academy: Book One Of The Shifter Academy Series
'Book 1 in the Shifter series' My name is Celina Birch and until yesterday me, and my siblings; Sydney and Alexander but Alex for short, thought we were human. Turns out we our from a family of shifters but, we would not know thy due to our parents dying when we were young and being adopted. The animal you shift into does not run in blood like people think. Yes, some family's lean more towards one animal but there are occasions where a member will shift into a different animal. It all depends on your personality. There are 22 types of animals you can shift into. Some are common and some are rare. Now we have the birds: the Ravens, the Eagles, the Vultures, and the Falcons. Then we have the felines: the Panthers, the Tigers, the Cougars, the Snow Leopards, the Cheetahs, and the Lions. Then we have our canines: the wolves, the foxes, the coyotes, and the hyena's. Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon. If only I knew then that there was actually 23 types of shifters ~~~~~~~~~~ I wrote this series when i was very young, so any mistakes or grammar issues, or long descriptions, I am sorry about, but I won't be fixing them anytime soon either.Terminé

Chasing Rainclouds
A 2024 NaNoWriMo story "'I have to go!" I yell, before my feet take over and I'm shoving my way through the crowd. Eliza says something, but I can't hear her... I have to get away." || A Shifter, a humanoid creature that can take the form of any existing or imaginary being, lives among humans. For any other Shifter, this would be fine, and they could just take the form of a human. Super easy, right? For any other, maybe, but this one has lost control over their ability and is constantly changing into strange combinations with no way to stop it. They've lived with humans for seven years, wearing cloaks and keeping their eyes down to avoid unwanted attention. This worked fine, at least it did, until they literally bumped into Eliza, a girl their age. Luckily, their wonky powers shifted them into a creature that resembles a human, but it's bound to change eventually, and Eliza will learn the truth. And Eliza is the only friend they've had in a long time. Can the Shifter keep their origins a secret and stay in the only place that's ever felt like home? Or will everything slip through their fingers, just like it always has?Terminé
Elemental School
A secluded high school somewhere in Asia hidden in a city filled with immortals that can use magic from the eight elements of nature. These immortals are Elementalists, where they are humans but with the ability to use magic. --- This book contains strong language and violence. --- I know that the grammar and writing suck but trust me, it improves as you progress with the story. --- Katsu Zanerous takes part in this high school as a grade eleven student. What is special about him is that he has a relationship with the strongest Elementalist, an evil lord, as he lives for revenge. When high school was starting after a break, he meets a new girl named Haruko, which he falls in love with as time went on. Haruko would develop feelings for Katsu as well, but there is only a tiny obstacle between their love. Haruko's uncle is the evil lord. Is it possible for these two to have a relationship with Katsu's hatred with the evil lord and his army?Terminé

The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing.
