Keena Thorogood lives a century after Katniss made the decision to have the Hunger Games with tributes from the Capitol. Things have changed, and now the Capitol is not the shiny, perfect place it once was. Keena is considered lucky; she has enough food that she is not in danger of starvation, which is rare. When she is chosen to be in the New Hunger Games, though, she knows that she very well may die. But she will soon discover that she is not as helpless as she thinks... and that allies come from the strangest of places. She will have to fight for her survival... and maybe for something more.
