Sixteen year old Kaylee Boardman is an only child. Her Dad died in a skiing accident when she was young. Her Mom, Cassidy Boardman, is her only family.
That is, until her Mom suddenly informs her that they are adopting a fourteen year old girl.
Megan Jones enters their life. A very kind, shy girl with secrets. But everyone has secrets.
It's not like they could cause any problems, right?
