(Chapter 01 | Book One of Magic Series) Ekene-Farai was always the problem child of the family, pranking her siblings, playfully poisoning food. They didn't expect her to be the "perfect" child like her eldest sister Constance-Anne, who aced her tests, was loved by all her teachers, and always used proper manners. She was never any of those things. She tended to avoid everything that would turn her into her sister. She, as well as her other siblings, never wanted to be in the praising position Constance was trapped in. But Ekene has a power. This power she beholds drains all the happiness and energy from the girl at a young and vulnerable age, causing her to be as dull as the color grey. This power puts fear in her. Yet it also teaches her love, happiness, respect, and sadness. Ekene, can see the dead.
