"It's funny, Emery. You're parents are the King and Queen of my species, yet. You're nothing but a Human." Florian spoke nothing but the truth. I was just a human. A human living with a pack of wolves.

"You know my mom is also human right?" I shot back, instantly regretting it.

He closed in on me and I gasped at the heat his body gave off. "But your siblings aren't." He said with a wicked smile. "My mate has some fire to her. I like it." He spoke so softly I almost didn't hear him. Almost.
