"Would you stop doing stuff like that?!" Jensen yells, his tears still flowing down his cheeks. He had turned around to face me as I chased him, and he never looked so broken..
"Doing what?!" I yelled back, tears blurring my vision.
He gripped a handful of his hair with his two hands and spun around momentarily, as if taking a break from talking.
He faced me again and wiped his tears, "You act as if you don't know.. but you do.." His voice cracked, "You made me break the promise to myself.. that I would never love again.." He sniffled, his upper lip twitching as he shrugged.
I was silent as I stared at him, my mouth ever so slightly open. He'd just confessed his love to me.. while I was in there having a peaceful date with my boyfriend.
"I hate you so much for doing this to me.. You made me fall in love with you, and you know it, yet you toy with my feelings as if they're nothing. Now, why the fuck do you do stuff like that?!" He shouted, his body trembling.
I just stood there once more, frozen, not knowing what to say.
"I don't know.. I guess.. no one dies of heartbreak.. and I.. I don't.." I swallowed thickly, not knowing what to say anymore.
He shook his head, laughing sadly, "That's so fucking sad.." He licked his bottom lip. Nodding, he left me there. Standing, confused, and most of all.. broken..
