Science Fiction
It's 2103. Advances in science have led to humans being able to pay for evolutions to be done on their bodies, allowing them to live in previously uninhabitable climates such as the ocean or the highest peaks on Earth. Stella BiJoux is a teenage girl from a "lowlander" family, citizens who live normal lives free of evolutions because of low-income. Her life becomes miserable when she is forced to work and take care of her mother after her stepfather dies. But when things get rough, sacrifices have to be made....like submitting to scientific DNA tests for much needed money. After her mother is taken away, and her body begins to change, she will learn that not everything is as simple as it seems...

She can't stand even being in the same room as one of her family members, so she does something she's never done before: she runs. The Big Apple has never seemed so small.
